ok, in Dakota’s defense:
She was able to control the lighting and angles in the video on the right. She also has her bangs/fringe pulled down and styled. This dramatically changed her face shape, and does not make it look so “heavy?” “round?” …I am stumped at which word to use. She isn’t fat…but her face definitely looks fuller and less Heroin chic gaunt like it does on the right.
She is also not making any real facial expressions in the video on the right. She is obviously trying SUPER hard to not move her lips all that much. Oh, and she is wearing circle lenses in that video as well. In the TV clip/video on the left, she isn’t. I actually really liked the way her eyes looks in that video. They had more of a high fashion runway or editorial appeal.
It does look like some level of retouching has taken place in the video on the right. It is not that hard to do, especially since it is an agency and they have access to a plethora of retouchers.
Oh well, I will stop now because I am rambling.

annnnnnnd this is why all of her personal videos are only from straight on without her making any expressions. She knows she looks wonky from other angles and when she smiles. Seriously, wtf is even going on here? I think the excessive makeup is only making is worse….
yeah, she is notorious for shooping her chin in photos as well as editing it out in her videos. There are multiple videos where her chin “wiggles” all over the place because she did a shoddy job of editing it in Adobe After Effects. She actually still has them uploaded on her youtube account. One that comes to mind (right away) is her FF hair tutorial thing. Her chin like, jumps around all throughout that video.
So I was on my personal and this picture comes up and I immediately think of Dakota. This model (Marina Nery) is basically what Dakota wishes she looked like (except for the whole PoC thing) and what she wished she was- a talented, high end model.
Do people look like this in real life? I’m so deadened by edited pictures now. Mesmerising.
She is just *gorgeous*.
I don’t know what the hell is in the drinking water in Brazil, but some of those woman are stunning. Even her “candid’ shots are gorgeous.
I can safely say, that I am legitimately jealous of her beauty and wish her nothing but the best. @.@

I will never understand the deal with freelicers and Dakota’s chin. I DON’T GET IT. Her chin isn’t ‘giant’ there are soooo many people in the world with larger chins than hers and I don’t see them getting made fun of for it. I JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND. WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER CHIN. You guys are going to make fun of her chin and then bash her for editing it? “I am going to hate on how your face looks naturally but also hate on it when you try and change it with editing. Either way I will make fun of your appearance.” WHAT GREAT PEOPLE WE HAVE HERE.

lol, so I stumbled upon this and wanted to share. Many of the comments are quite hilarious. Multiple comments make fun of her chin, and a lot of others express disgust with the way the dresses and puts on makeup.
